SPACE MISSIONS

Day 1

April 12th, 2021

9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Challenge Rocket Launch

A prominent aerospace company has asked you to help design a heavy-lift launch vehicle. This vehicle, a rocket, must send the owner’s car into space so that he can drive it when he gets to Mars. To save money, the rocket must land in a specific area to be recovered and reused in future missions

Your Mission

Coding component

Design and Launch a rocket (using only the materials provided) to release a space car and

then land on a target.

This camp will have a small fun introductory coding component

Day 2

April 13th, 2021

9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Challenge MARS Landing

It is year 2050. The Mars bound flight carrying humans is due to land in two years. You are part of an engineering task force that has been commissioned to perfect the landing on the thin atmospheric planet

Your Mission

Design and build a lander that will cruise through and successfully land two astronauts on the MARSian surface.

Coding component

This camp will have a small fun introductory coding component

Day 3

April 14th, 2021

9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Challenge Making MARsian Base

As humans prepare to colonize the moon and even Mars, we

must find ways to protect our bodies in harsh environments.

The atmospheres of the Moon and Mars filter less of the Sun’s

harmful rays. We must find a way to prevent overexposure.

Your Mission

Coding component

Your engineering company has been selected to construct a shelter

to protect people from ultraviolet radiation outside the Earth’s

atmosphere.

This camp will have a small fun introductory coding component

Day 4

April 15th, 2021

9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Challenge Mars Buggy

Explorer Rover

So we have successfully landed on Mars and built a safe base.  But to survive we must explore the planet for resources. Word is that frozen water is trapped in the craters. To get to these craters and more, you must build a

rover that can navigate through the rugged terrain on this distant

planet. Mars is with rocks that that are different from earth. You may be in for  some surprises!

Your Mission

Design and build a Rover that is capable of navigating MARSian surface full of surprises

Coding component

This camp will have a small fun introductory coding component

Day 5

April 16th, 2021

9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Challenge Roblox Coding

Asteroid Miner

Your team has successfully landed on the Pi-Storm asteroid in the Goldilocks zone of the Milky Way. The asteroid is packed with stellar resources that can be mined and sent back to the earth for its survival against the newest solar threat.

Your Mission

You and your team is tasked to design, build and code an exciting 3D world in ROBLOX!

What gems will you discover?
