Gaming with Python will introduce students to advanced concepts within Python to build exciting games. Students will learn the platform to publish their games. Building upon Intro the Python students will take a deep dive in Pygame to master their design and build concepts in Python and take it further by launching their games via web framework

  • 12 week Program

  • Each session is 2 hour long

  • Hands on projects via game building​ by learning:

    • Various data structures 

    • reusable code modules via functions & modules

    • Pygame - Deep dive

    • Build a variety of gaming projects

    • Intro to Django

    • Final gaming project from design to implentation

    • Publishing and distributing python gaming projects

    • Qualify to Intern with us after completion of the program



Students must have successfully completed Intro to Python with Code-it Hacks or with another institution. We may require you to take a small assessment to determine if you are ready for this class



This program will run on Saturday afternoons in Bloor West Village (Swansea Town Hall)
